Best Presentation award at ACM SIGGRAPH Motion in Games conference

Our team has won the Best Presentation award at the ACM SIGGRAPH Conference on Motion in Games in San Francisco for our paper:

“The effect of operating a doppleganger in a 3D simulation”
G. Lucas, E. Szablowski, J. Gratch, A. Feng, T. Huang, J. Boberg, A. Shapiro

We scanned 100 people, and put half of them into a maze game to see if operating their own doppleganger changed their behavior in the game. Short answer = no, but they were more engaged because they were playing ‘themselves’.
